The BookLovers’ Light
Every BookLovers’ Light is made especially for you and can be ordered with or without accessories. You may, for example, add a lampshade or a book belt. We can also source books if you are looking for something special.
If you would like a bespoke shade or the lamp in a different finish, we would be delighted to discuss your ideas. We also provide quotations for larger orders for public spaces. Tell us what you have in mind and we will do everything we can to meet your wishes.
And remember, you can give the lamp a new expression whenever you like through your choice of books, shade and styling, as well as where you place it.

to fit books of various sizes. Just loosen up a screw, adjust, and screw it back. No tools needed.

can support your books visible, or hidden between pages. The etched silhouette ensures original quality and design.
PUTTY-COLORED OVAL LAMPSHADE
with a warm golden inside adding luxury to any environment. W 44, D 20, H 17 cm. Despite the pompous expression, the oval lampshade becomes neat and suitable even on a narrow sideboard or windowsill.
SNOW-WHITE, DRUM SHAPED LAMPSHADE

Step by step
TO Assembly: bring a small screwdriver
- Carefully loosen the four screws on the lamp base.
- Hold the book stands with the bottom short sides inwards over the holes and reattach the screws.
- Loosen the screw under the lamp base.
- Carefully screw the straight rod of the lamp arm into the hole. Secure it with the bottom screw.
- To adjust the height of the lamp, loosen one or both of the brass screws on the lamp arm.
- Note: always loosen the screws properly to avoid scratches when adjusting the height.
- Lock the arm to the desired height with the brass screws. Let the lamp arm with the cord run down behind the rod to keep the cord free.
When using a book belt, ensure it surrounds only the books, not the lamp arm!

Brass care
C/O BRASS
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. When exposed to the air the brass will tend to tarnish (oxidize) giving it a beautiful patina.
Always wear soft gloves or a soft fabric in between when handling the lamp to avoid fingerprints and stains.
If you prefer a bright high-sheen finish you can use a gentle polish that creates a water-repellent protective film. We recommend Glanol.
Apply a small amount evenly over the entire surface, then polish the surface with a soft cloth - always polish in the same direction. Avoid using water.
