BRILLIANT DURABILITY: FRIBE FORM’S (RE)EVOLUTION

Since childhood, she has loved to express herself. Now Heléne Friberg has created a new brand for exclusive interior design products.

– I have always wanted to make something of my inherited possessions.

Heléne Friberg has a background as a soloist dancer at the Royal Swedish Ballet. Driven by creativity and a passion for aesthetics, she established Fribe Form, a brand focused on exclusive interior design products.

Fribe Form’s signature creation is The book lover's light, a handmade table lamp crafted from recycled brass. This lamp emphasizes circularity and sustainability through the endless ability to be refreshed and personalized with books and shades. The design is timeless making it both cost-effective and valuable to inherit. Heléne’s vision for The book lover's light is to accompany users through life, leaving no environmental trace and inspiring a sustainable lifestyle.

Heléne advocates for ending linear production. Her dedication to reusing quality materials with history and patina underscores her belief in timeless beauty and craftsmanship. The book lover's light also appeals to architects, decorators, stylists, and companies for its versatility and unique storytelling abilities.

Heléne hopes to inspire a more sustainable future, inviting everyone to learn more at fribeform.com.

Big paper, great notice

To be seen in the largest Sunday Magazine in Sweden is fribe news to us. We celebrate it with a “fika”.

3 GREAT “FIKA-THINGS”

Did you know the easiest way to meet or date a Swede is over a “fika”. Fika means to have a cup of coffee together with someone. You don’t have to drink coffee though, it could be anything you like to drink. But a real fika must consist of something sweet, like a cake, bun, or sponge cake.

If you also celebrate a birthday you do it with a gateau. For this our cake & cookie dishes are great. Of course, they can also serve other things. So we say, celebrate more to honor the beauty of handmade laces.

Swedish magazine puts a spotlight on The book lover's light

The article runs over three pages and begins like this:

Leave the books in the lamplight

Frida Ramstedt pays tribute to our lamp

Trendenser, founded by Frida Ramstedt, is the leading interior blog in Scandinavia. Frida’s vast knowledge is richly credited and her handbooks in furnishing are translated into 30 languages. It is with humbleness and gratitude we read her review on the Fribe Form The book lover's light.

This is Frida’s words:

UP & COMING:
FRIBE FORM – THE BOOK LIGHT

I got a tip about Heléne Friberg from Kungsbacka, where I live, who has designed her own lamp and bookend in one: The book lover's light.

The lamp is made by hand from recycled brass in the same place that Svenskt tenn makes some of its models and maintains an absolutely fantastic quality.

Heléne, who is a former soloist dancer at The Royal Swedish Ballet, got the idea for the lamp from her father and decided to refine his sketch and put the lamp into series production at the age of 63.

Not only is it a very unusual age to debut as a designer, it is also an unusually high fine finish on her very first product.

Applause from me!

THE LAMP OF DILIGENCE

Heléne Friberg, a former soloist at the Royal Swedish Ballet, has dedicated herself to marketing and brand strategy after her dance career. She is now launching a unique lamp base under the name Fribe Form. What makes this lamp special is its dual function as a bookshelf, which adds a personal and diverse touch. The lamp is made of recycled brass and comes with a choice of two lampshades.

Local hero

This is the very first press about Fribe Form. The local paper Norra Halland in Kungsbacka, where I live, published the article on the same day Fribe Form was launched at the interior exhibition, Formex, in Stockholm. It starts like this:

HELÉNE’S NEW VENTURE – LAUNCHING A UNIQUE LAMP

Even as a child, interior design was a great interest. Now Heléne Friberg has created a new Swedish brand with exclusive and timelessly durable interior accessories. The idea has been around for a long time, I have always thought sustainably and wanted to make something of my inherited, dear possessions, she says.
